Jason and I went to the doctor Wednesday morning for my 11/12 week check-up. We got to hear the baby's heartbeat! He/she has a heartrate of 153. I know the old wives' tale says that would indicate a girl, but I think it's a boy. Baby is fine, and I am doing well. Still no morning sickness. My pants are starting to get tight around the waist, though.

No preference. As long as it's healthy, I don't care. I can't wait to find out, though!
Okay, so I have to burst your bubble and tell you that in my case, EVERY Old Wives Tale was wrong for me. Including some stupid psychic chic that said I was having a boy:) I took all those online surveys for fun and every time it said 80-100% boy. Interesting..... including how I am carrying. Still a basketball, no watermelon or football. Anyway, the suspense will kill you like it did me, but finding out is the MOST EXCITING!!!! Then the baby has an identity!
No morning sickness?! You probably won't have any if it hasn't started yet, yipeee!!! Mine went away at 14 weeks. Have fun, take lots of pictures, and keep us posted!!!
Ok, so I know I am much farther along (or is it further?!), but I went to the Dr. yesterday and Mackenzie's heartbeat was 159. Now, this is at 30 weeks, and they always say you can't judge sex by the heartbeat, if you even believe that, until at least 20 weeks. All babies younger than that will have very accelerated rates because they are new and forming everything. Anyway, just sharing the tidbit! My guess is girl, but what do I know? I thought Mackenzie was a boy, so you are probably having a boy. I'm confused now....
P.S. Ask Erica, she has a sixth sense about these things. Apparently so does Jason!
Mendy, don't be confused! I understand what you said. I am not putting much stock in the heartrate thing. As long as it is in the normal range, I don't care what the heartrate is. I still think I am having a boy, though. We'll see!

Any new updates? How are you feeling? I have been thinking of you and checking back to see if you've had another Dr. appt. and how you guys are doing.
I am doing great- just tired and BIG. I hope to post some belly pics later this weekend. 4 weeks and counting.....
