Here is Jacob at 21 weeks. He weighs approximately 1 lb. and is about 9 in. long. As you can see, he enjoys kicking his mother. He was pretty quiet at first, but the longer the tech did the ultrasound, the more active he became. The doctor said he is healthy and I don't have to go back to Maternal-Fetal-Medicine! What a relief!

Yay! No more specialty docs. I used his first ultrasound pic to show my Med Anth class what an ultrasound looked like. Hope ya'll don't mind. They were perplexed til I pointed out his head, spine, etc. then they were impressed! I can't wait to see him outside of his mommy though - the time will fly by.
Wow! I can't believe you are 21 weeks already and I am a new Mommy! Erica is right, it will fly by, so enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. You look fabulous and so does Jacob! How are you feeling?
I don't mind you using my baby's ultrasound pic to teach anthropology students. It's weird how some people can see what is in the picture and some people can't see anything.
I am so excited for you, Mendy! She's a doll! I feel good. Just have to make sure I don't do too much. I am trying to enjoy the pregnancy. I like to try to figure out what he's doing when I feel him move around.
