Yes, I know...it is Labor Day weekend and I am posting pics from July 4th weekend. But, hey, 2 months behind is better than the usual 6 months! My lifelong friend, Monica, had a party at her house this year for the 4th of July. She had a big slide and sparklers for the kids and lots of food. The neighborhood that she lives in has a huge fireworks show every year. It was great! We had a really good time. Best of all, I got to visit with my dear friend that I hardly ever get to see.
Monica's house backs up to a golf course, and Jacob took full advantage of it. He ran all over the course. Jason volunteered to chase after him. Let me tell you, he got quite a workout!
Jacob wanted to play on the slide, but he was afraid of it. Dad was nominated to go in it with him. One good thing about being pregnant, you can use it as an excuse to get out of doing things you normally would have to do for the sake of your kids!
