37 week check-up
Well, it looks like I am going to have Jacob on February 21st. The ultrasound showed that he weighs 6 lb 11 oz. His head is down like it is supposed to be, and he is doing fine. However, in another 2 weeks he will be almost 8 lbs. The doctor said that he will be getting too big for me. Apparently, my wide hips and big butt are quite deceiving. I always assumed my birth canal, etc. was as wide as the rest of me. You know what they say about assumptions! I have not started to dilate or thin yet, though. She said we can go ahead and schedule an induction for Ash Wednesday--at 4:00 in the morning!! OH MY GOD!!! I am going to have a baby in 2 weeks!! Needless to say, I have not gotten any work done today. My mind is racing and I can't seem to focus on anything for more than a couple minutes.

Ooh exciting! Good luck and we'll be thinking about you. This will be the best king cake baby ever!
Yipppeeee! Isn't it exciting to actually "know" the day you will become a Mommy? I only had one day to think about it- you have 2 weeks.... I don't envy you!!!! Try and get as much sleep as possible and as selfish as it sounds, spend some good quality time with the hubby. You'll understand soon enough:) Keep us posted!
