Baby Shower # 2

Here are some pictures from my second baby shower at my parents' house. This is my mother and me next to the cake that my cousin made. That cake was soooo good!! You will probably notice the giraffe theme throughout the house. My mom went a little nuts with the giraffes. The decorations looked great, though. Almost everybody showed up. I was afraid no one would come since I was competing with the Saints NFC championship game and a bad thunderstorm.




Here is another giraffe (she already had this one) on the drinks table in the laundry/sewing room. I know it doesn't look like a laundry room, but it is. My mom even had mint tins that said "It's a Boy" on them (next to the cups).









This is the other wreath that she decorated. She embroidered the bib hanging from it. The port-a-crib was mine when I was a baby. She used it to hold my shower gifts.
















This is the best side view pic from the shower. I was a couple days shy of 35 weeks. In the background is the baby carriage my mom wheeled me around in when I was a baby.
I think everyone had a great time. I know I did!
I go to the doctor for an ultrasound in a few minutes to see how big Jacob is now and then to my 37 week check-up. I will let ya'll know what the plan is later today!
