To answer your question, Erica---an abstractor gathers information from cancer cases and inputs all that info into software. Every case diagnosed at the hospital has to be documented and followed until death. It is a lot of attention to detail and lots of computer work. There are conferences every month we have to organize and cancer committee meetings every quarter, etc, etc. Right up my alley, so far. I am finally using again some of my skills and education from that master's degree I got.

Me, too! I want to see a pic of your new braces. I gather that is what you are referring to when you talk about your mouth hurting.
