Movie Reviews

We rent movies through blockbuster.com, so we have 3 movies at all times to watch. We have been watching a lot of them lately in an effort to reduce the amount of movies in our queue (50). I have decided to start writing little movie reviews, since we have been watching so many lately. My rating system is the usual 0-4 stars. Here goes!!
Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford:(3.5) Great movie! A little long, but it was neat seeing the full story of the demise of Jesse James and
the jerk that killed him. If you aren't too keen on westerns, but are a fan
of Brad Pitt or Casey Affleck, then you will like it anyway.
Shoot Em Up: (2.5) Not too bad. Lots of violence and a very graphic sex scene that I didn't really get to see because I had to fast forward through it due to Devyn and Shelbie watching it with me. If you like violent action movies, then this is for you.
Ocean's 13: (4)Brilliant!! This movies is as good as the first two. I loved it! Yes, I would have liked it anyway just because Brad is in it. But, it really is
good. Trying to figure out how they are going to pull off yet another heist
was fun. I did miss Julia and Catherine, though. No women in this one.
The Bucket List: (4) Another great one! You will laugh your ass off and cry a river. Jack and Morgan are great together. Warning: Major tearjerker.
3:10 to Yuma: (3) Pretty good for a western. I am not real fond of westerns, but I do like to watch some of the modern ones. Russell Crowe and Christian Bale make good cowboys. Warning: tearjerker.
Beyond Borders: (3.5) I really enjoyed this movie. It's a few years old, but I wanted to watch it for some reason. Eye-opener to how things are in third world countries. I didn't give it 4 stars because I didn't like the ending...at
all. In fact, I cursed the TV. Angelina & Clive work good together.
