I am so excited right now that I could jump up and down!! After months of unsuccessfully trying to get Jacob to go potty in the bathroom, he finally did it! We haven't been pressuring him, but we do ask him every day if he wants to "go potty in the big toilet". Most of the time he says no. Sometimes he says yes, but he just sits there. Last month Jason taught him how to potty like a big boy standing up. We have even tried using Cheerios in the toilet. He stands there and aims for a minute or so, then says he's finished. They have little toilets at school, and his teacher faithfully takes him to the potty several times a day. But today, he did it! Ms. Karen just called me to tell me the good news. She said most of it went on the floor, but who cares! It could be just a one-time thing for now, but on the other hand, it could be the beginning of the end of diapers. I am so happy for my baby. I just had to share my joy with ya'll. I know I sound silly, but I don't care! Hehehe!

You don't sound silly at all- nothing can make a new parent more excited than their baby going potty for the first time! Haha!
