Well, I think it is safe to announce that we are expecting again!! I will be 17 weeks pregnant on Saturday. My due date is November 27th. Needless to say, we were hesitant to tell anyone for a while. I had an ultrasound at 15 weeks at Maternal Fetal Medicine due to being AMA (ie. advanced maternal age...talk about make you feel old). The doctor said the baby looked great and we had nothing to worry about! We breathed a huge sigh of relief. This pregnancy has gone fairly well, not much different than when I was pregnant with Jacob. One big difference is I can't go home and rest...I have to chase after Jacob. It can definitely get hard in the evenings having to cook, play with Jacob, bathe him and get him to sleep. Some nights I am so exhausted that I think I could fall asleep standing up. Although, it has definitely gotten much better since I entered the second trimester.
Jacob is pretty excited, too. He keeps asking to see the baby. If I could just get him to stop crawling all over me! My teenagers are also very excited, especially Shelbie. She has become quite protective of me, too.
Oh, I almost forgot...the 15 week ultrasound says it is another boy! They said it was right at the beginning of being able to tell the baby's sex, so it could be wrong, but probably not. So, unless it's wrong, we will have 2 boys. Unfortunately, we have not a single boy name picked out. We have a girl's name picked in case it is a girl, but no boy names. Any suggestions are definitely welcomed.

Woohoo! You and Mendy can both have your babies on my birthday! Hold him in til 11/30! Congrats.
I was gonna email you but I'll just type it here. I am driving from SC to Texas and was gonna make a stopover in Baton Rouge on Monday the 28th. Will you be around?
How WONDERFUL!!!!!!! AND, we have almost exactly the same due date! My original due date was November 24th, then got moved to December 3rd. Yesterday, baby measured back on par for Nov. 24th ( I measured 17 weeks instead of 16 weeks)! If the ultrasound on July 9th shows the same difference, they will move it back to my original due date. I have known all along it is Nov. 24th, haha! Don't know what we're having yet. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Soooo excited for you guys!
Erica, I will be around on the 28th. I would love to see you! Maybe we could do lunch or you could have dinner with us.
Mendy, sounds like we will both have very different Thanksgivings this year. Just think, we have a great excuse to not cook anything! My due date will not change according to my doc, but she already said to plan on a c-section around November 18th. So, I will be coming home when you are going in, unless of course the babies have other plans!
