Jacob's birthday party was at Chuck E. Cheese this year. He and his friends had a blast! He was having so much fun that he didn't want to stop playing to open his presents. So we opened them later at home. He wasn't too keen on wearing the crown, and he refused to go in the ticket booth. His girlfriend, Anna Kate, gladly went in it for him. Nevertheless, everyone had a great time. And let me just say, their service was awesome! The manager must have checked on us 3 times. Plus, there apparently was a widespread shortage of helium. As part of their favor, the kids were supposed to get a balloon. Since hospitals get first dibs on any available helium, there were no balloons for the kids. Go figure! (just joking...lol). Since they couldn't provide us with balloons, they gave me a stack of tickets for the kids to put towards a prize. I was able to give each child at least 200 tickets! I personally think that is a much better favor than a balloon, so I didn't complain a bit. Here are some pics from the party.
Jacob's Star Wars cake.
The kids devoured the pizza and cupcakes.
They had fun dancing and singing, too!
Brennan was fascinated with Chuck E. Cheese. He kept climbing on the stage area to touch him.

LOL! That's awesome! I remember the cheese maze!! They don't have that anymore. It was so much cooler way back then.
