I had my last check-up with the doctor this morning. She said everything looks great! My measurements are still on target: 38 weeks. Brennan's heart rate was 140, and he has moved down further into the birth canal. My cervix is still closed, so it looks like his birthdate will be next Thursday, November 18th...unless he has other plans between now and then. I asked my doctor how big she thought he was at this point, and to my surprise she thinks he weighs around 7 lbs 8 oz. She said he will probably weigh more than 8 lbs when he is born! Considering how short I am, that is a pretty big baby to be lugging around. No wonder my ribs and my hips hurt! Since he has moved down some more, I am able to breathe a little bit better. I haven't weighed myself in the last few days, but I am guessing I have gained about 27 lbs, maybe 28.
We still have so much to do to get ready for his big arrival. I hope I can get it all done! We have an extremely busy weekend ahead, too. I will keep you all posted!

I am jealous! You get to have your little guy early! Our Doctors and hospitals must be quite a bit stricter here- no inductions until 39 weeks! Looks like I may have to wait until the 29th!
You mean you haven't had that baby yet?!!! Tell them to take him out already!
But yes, I get to have him early, mainly because I can't naturally deliver a baby over around 7 lbs...my birth canal is too small. Jacob was 7.5 lbs one week early, and they're guessing Brennan is already 8 lbs. Plus my doctor will be at the beach the entire Thanksgiving week.
Hang in there. I am sure you will have him by the weekend. Wouldn't it be great if we both had our boys on the 18th?!
