Our new area of serenity. I had the idea to move our glider from the backyard, where it wasn't really being used, to the side of the house by the carport in order to have somewhere to sit while watching Jacob play. I positioned my hibiscus plants and our satsuma tree around it. And it is directly underneath a very large purple crepe myrtle that provides lots of shade. Little did I know how pretty and serene of a spot it would become. Jacob loves to sit on it with me and rock back and forth. I can't wait until I can sit out there on a cool morning drinking my coffee while I am on maternity leave.
