The Grapevine Cafe and Gallery

We decided we didn't want to eat our anniversary dinner with other guests at the plantation. So, the asst. manager made reservations for us at The Grapevine Cafe and Gallery in Donaldsonville. We ate one of the best meals we have eaten in years! It was awesome. The service was impeccable, too. I highly recommend it to anyone who desires a fantastic southern meal.
Our table at the restaurant. A gorgeous courtyard was visible through the window.
My awesome dinner of herb encrusted grilled salmon, rice pilaf, and asparagus. I meant to take the picture before I ate it, but I forgot. So, you get a half-eaten meal instead. Sorry, Erica.
This is Jason's dessert: dark chocolate fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream, whip cream, and dark chocolate sauce.
I decided to get the award-winning white chocolate bread pudding with white chocolate sauce. The best bread pudding I have ever eaten.
